Nestled right by the shimmering Yoda Lake, Yala Elephant Cottage was an absolute gem for my recent weekend escape. The clean and cozy rooms truly offered a private sanctuary, and I was pleased to find that they matched the stunning photos online-no deceptive listings here! A special shoutout to Gurry and the team for helping me surprise my girlfriend with a beautifully decorated room and a complimentary birthday cake; it made her day extra special. Though our time was brief-coming back late from Bundala and heading out early for a safari-the staff packed us a delightful breakfast to take with us, which was a thoughtful touch. With unbeatable rates and a fantastic swimming pool that was spotless throughout our stay, Yala Elephant Cottage made for an amazing, relaxing retreat. If you're planning a trip for adventure or a romantic getaway, this place is a must-visit!
